Volunteering Opportunity at MBTO

MY BIRTHDAY TREE ORGANIZATION (MBTO) is an environmental Youth-led Non-Governmental Organization established in 2021, officially registered under the Non-Governmental Organizations Act, 2002 made under section 11(1) and 17(2) of act No.24 of 2002 as amended from time to time with the registration number 00NGO/R/4432 on 1st march 2023. It was officially launched by the deputy minister of State, Vice president’s office Union and Environment, Honorable Khamis Hamza Chillo on 24th June 2023 on behalf of the minister of State, Vice president’s office Union and Environment, Honorable Dr. Selemani Said Jafo. My birthday tree Organization has its headquarters in Morogoro.

Volunteer Positions Available

We are seeking motivated individuals with expertise in the following fields:

  1. Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness, Agricultural Investment and Banking or related courses in Accounting and Finance (1 Position) –. They manage budgeting and financial planning, maintain accurate records, prepare donor and project reports, ensure compliance and accountability, and support audits and resource mobilization.
  2. Project Planning, Management and Related fields (1 Position) – Assisting with the design, coordination, and monitoring of agroforestry and rural development projects.
  3. Horticulture, Agriculture ,Agronomy and Crop science (1 position) – Providing technical knowledge in nursery management, vegetable production, and climate-smart farming practices.
