Syntropic Agroforestry Project
Our Syntropic Agroforestry Project offers a bold, nature-based solution to the climate challenges facing Tanzania’s landscapes. Through this regenerative agricultural system, we are reversing land degradation, restoring biodiversity, and strengthening food and income security, one farm at a time.
By collaborating with local farming communities, we transform depleted land and cultivation areas into vibrant, self-sustaining agro-ecosystems. These systems integrate native trees, food crops, and fodder in harmony with natural forest growth cycles, resulting in healthier soils, more dependable harvests, and landscapes that are better able to withstand drought and climate extremes.
At the heart of this project is community empowerment. We equip youth and women with practical agroforestry skills through demo plot establishment turning them into champions of land restoration and climate resilience.
