Syntropic Training in Arusha

My Birthday Tree Organization (MBTO), in partnership with Natopiwo Organization, invites local farmers to a three-day Syntropic Agroforestry training from 16–18 November 2026 at Monduli Juu Primary School, Monduli, Arusha, Tanzania. The training will provide theoretical knowledge and practical skills to help farmers adopt sustainable farming practices, improve food production, create income opportunities, and restore degraded land.

This will bring together local farmers interested in learning sustainable agricultural practices that can improve farm productivity while addressing environmental challenges. The training will be facilitated by experienced and certified field experts from My Birthday Tree Organization, providing participants with practical guidance and opportunities for hands-on learning.

The training aims to equip farmers with the knowledge and practical skills to understand and apply Syntropic Agroforestry principles. Participants will learn about integrating trees and food crops, crop arrangement, farm establishment, and sustainable farm management. The approach also creates opportunities to diversify production through food and cash crops, helping farmers strengthen their livelihoods and generate additional income.

A key focus of the training is to promote the restoration and conservation of degraded soils in Monduli. Through Syntropic Agroforestry, farmers will explore how integrating trees, crops, and ground cover can protect exposed soil, reduce erosion, improve soil health, and retain moisture.
