My Birthday Tree Innovation Hub | Empowering Youth Through Innovation
On August 8th, during Farmers Day celebrations, My Birthday Tree Organization (MBTO) was honored to welcome stakeholders from World Water Net & WaterWorx, GeoTE, students from our Innovation Hub at Morogoro Secondary School, and other valued partners to our offices.
The purpose of the visit was learning by doing giving our guests a hands-on experience of how we implement our projects. From our Spice, Fruit, and Water-Wise Nursery Project to our broader work in agroforestry, climate resilience, and biodiversity conservation, visitors saw first-hand the passion and dedication behind every seed we plant.
Some might see it as just planting trees, but it's a powerful symbol of how far communities can grow transforming from degraded lands and forgotten spaces into thriving, green ecosystems in just a few seasons. It’s more than reforestation it’s a reflection of a nation reclaiming its balance with nature, driven by grassroots action, youthful energy, and a vision for a sustainable future.
